The Want List

Last Update 14/4/24
Here's where I keep a track of TransFormers toys and Third Party bits and bobs that I'm interested in laying my hands on... Just a simple list, but hopefully it'll document a few cool purchases... I also keep an Amazon wish list featuring some of these items but, while I know this sort of thing happens for some bloggers (and particularly YouTubers), in all good conscience, I neither expect nor suggest anyone buy these for me (other than, perhaps, close friends and family, for birthday or Christmas presents). It's just another means of tracking the figures and their availability.

Mainline Hasbro TransFormers:
Cybertron Longrack (because the original amuses me, and the just the idea that they adapted Armada Hoist into a Cybertron version of him even moreso)

Energon Dreadwing ('cos I like the Gundam-ish mold)

Beast Wars Inferno
Beast Wars Metals/Transmetals 2 Tigerhawk
Beast Wars Metals/Transmetals 2 Megatron

Mainline Takara Tomy Figures:
Arms Micron (TFPrime) Jet Vehicon General

TransFormers Generations Senator Ratbat

Beast Wars Neo Big Convoy (maybe... Might get the Encore version)

Masterpiece Ratbat (maybe... Not 100% convinced by Badbat...)

TransFormers Live Action Movie Figures:
Studio Series #109 BB movie Concept Megatron (maybe... the engineering looks eerily similar to the SS versions of RotF Megatron and DotM Shockwave, but it's actually a fairly good Megatron design)
Studio Series core class BB movie concept Rumble (maybe... mainly because it's another minion who fits inside Soundwave's chest cavity... but they either got the name or the colours wrong: the blue one is Frenzy)
MPM Blackout (maybe - I'm still pretty satisfied with the Studio Series toy, and still think the WeiJiang upscaled KO looks better... but it's a question of availability and cashflow)
MPM Bonecrusher (maybe - chances are, and improved KO will come along... but equally, I'm not that invested in the character and the Studio Series version is fine for me...)

Misc Exclusives/Special Releases:
TFCC BotCon 2009 Scourge

'Holy Grail'/'White Whale' Figures:
Encore/G1 Omega Supreme (because the Siege version is way too big for my collection and I like motorised features)
G1 Overlord (frequently on eBay in various states of incompleteness, and debatably better than the version from the Titans Return toyline. Cool 'Double Powermaster' features, and a more intricate base mode)
Beast Wars Ikard & Tako Tank (actually not that difficult to find for a reasonable cost, I just don't have room for it right now...)
Beast Wars II Galvatron Color Lio Convoy (super-unlikely considering only 50 were made)
TFCC BotCon 2006 Darksyde Megatron (appeared on eBay during late 2016 for the frankly insane price of $1,300, eventually sold for a just as loony $1,000. Also seen for €1,100 Euros, which is still nuts)

Third Party Transforming Robot Figures:
MetaGate G05 Red Fantasy On Order (perhaps not as tidy as Haiku/Drift, but this version of Shatter looks cleaner than ToyWorld's version in most respects, and has an overall better-looking robot mode)
BingoToys BT-04 Spider Girl On Order (having now seen photos and video of the finished(?) product, this one's a definite - looks substantially better than Wind Girl)
Unique Toys R06 Red Dasher (while I already own - and am mostly happy with - Alien Attack's Firage, I can't say it's fun to handle, thanks to being far too complex for its scale. This version brings Unique Toys magic to the character and looks like it might fit better with the other 3P Masterpiece analogues on my shelves)
Iron Factory EX-78 Blackarachnia Samurai Edition (been a while since I bought an Iron Factory figure, and I'm not wholly convinced of the samurai aesthetic on some of the other figures, but this one looks fantastic)
Sci-Figure Industry Wuling Hongguang Mini EV Nebula (basically a shellformer, but a cute Femme-Bot nonetheless...)
Shock Warrior SW-01 and 02 (being upscaled and improved versions of the Studio Series Ratchet and Ironhide toys based on the Bumblebee movie CGI... I'd been thinking of getting these as I felt the Deluxes were a touch undersized, but pretty much made the decision to get them when I can after my SS Ironhide lost his forearm)
Original Venerable OV-01 (an upscaling and substantial reworking of the Studio Series Sentinel Prime figure, which almost looks to be Masterpiece grade, with an exceptional paint job - I was pretty much sold on it when I saw the pneumatic spike from his vehicle mode utility arm could be pegged into the robot's forearm)
Black Mamba FA-01 Supreme Elder (an upscaling of slight reworking of the SS version of The Fallen with a massively improved paint job, which is everything the Hasbro version should have been)
WeiJiang 'Robot Force' M05 customised Blackout (assuming the issues with build quality - breaking clips, etc. - were sorted... and if it's still available)
Master Made SDT-02 Diabolus Rex (because I rather like Trypticon and this Super Deform version is just adorable!)
Big Firebird EX-02 Scarlet Princess (maybe - I gather the idea now is to make something unique and substantially less IP-infringing than the originally-intended Windblade-analogue but, whatever it is, I'm potentially on board for Big Firebird's next full-size Femme-Bot... if it ever happens)
Mastermind Creations R-09 Eupatorium (if the price is right...)

Third Party Accessories:
DNA Design DK-11 upgrade set for Studio Series Jetfire
Dr.Wu DW-P47 Double Trouble upgrade kit for PotP RoadTrap & BattleSlash
Matrix Workshop M-27 upgrade set for Studio Series Jet Shatter
Matrix Workshop M-38 upgrade set for Studio Series Blitzwing
Starscream Studio SSC03 Upgrade Kit for Prime Wars Punch/Counterpunch
Starscream Studio SSC04 Upgrade Kit for PotP Dreadwind & Darkwing
Fans Want It Alien Jet Engine Kit (maybe - won't bother if I end up getting MPM Starscream or its KO)
FansProject TFX-ABT-01 Gas Tank Upgrade Kit

Third Party Other:
Flame Toys' Furai Model Kit Blackarachnia (the initial concept art looks a bit odd, but we shall see...)
